Do you feel immobilized on your journey to a healthier you?

Hi! Coach DaNae here on Transformation Tuesday. I have lost almost 100 pounds and transformed my life. I then returned to school and became a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer to help other women rise above the sea of information and take action to shed their old selves and transform into the Vibrant Ladies they are!

How can I help you? The decision is yours! You have to decide if you are truly ready for lasting change. As I coach, I do not suggest extreme fad diets. I ate all of my favorite foods while losing 96 pounds. The key is to stay within your calorie limit and move more. Start tracking your favorite foods today. Look at what a serving size is and measure it.

Take action. Use bowls that fit the appropriate serving size. I have learned that a serving of ice cream looks way more satisfying in a smaller bowl than that same serving in my larger soup bowls. Controlling my serving sizes has been the biggest help to me on this journey. I don’t feel deprived as I still can eat our family’s favorite foods… but with purpose.

Embrace the changes in your life. Set yourself up for a lifetime of success! The beginning of November is a good time to start these healthy habits before all of the traditional holiday foods begin. Learn your new habits now! Please don't wait for next Monday or even the New Year. Start today!

I highly suggest using a calorie-tracking app daily. Technology has made tracking calories very simple. After the initial learning curve… tracking my calories only takes me a few minutes a day. There are many excellent apps available. My favorite one is MyNetDiary. It is free to use. They also have a premium plan. But that is not necessary to lose weight... Action is!

Take back your life! This morning, I read this relevant quote by Michael Altshuler. “The bad news is time flies… The good news is you’re the pilot.”

Remember… You got this! Just as a pilot flying a plane makes tiny adjustments… simple changes can exponentially pivot your life's destination.
